On my way to NYC tomorrow to run in the marathon – first time at this race and I’m so excited. I’ve got my Pumpkin Spice SuperHero muffins and Power Bowl coming with me! Can’t say enough good things about this cookbook – it’s just everything about my training and I feel stronger than ever!!

As a person in recovery from an eating disorder and a middle school cross country coach, I cannot thank you enough for promoting healthy eating while training. I love every recipe but the true value of what you do lies behind the kitchen in the message you send about the importance of proper nutrition and a positive body image. Thank you for all you do and for giving me a fabulous resource for my middle school runners (any myself)!

I remember running with Shalane at the beginning of the Nike Marathon a few years back….so much fun jumping curbs and fire hydrants! LOL :)
