Run Fast. Eat Slow. on CBS This Morning

Run Fast. Cook Fast. Eat Slow. was featured on CBS This Morning! While in NYC for our book tour, Shalane had the chance to run with news anchor Norah O'Donnell and share how changing her diet has impacted her career. Watch this inspiring segment then get ready to put on an apron or lace up your running shoes! Or both!!

We just got the book in the mail yesterday, it was recommended by my teen daughter’s Cross Country coach and we are both fighting to read it first! It’s awesome, just made the salad recipe with the salmon. Loved it!!

Good morning!!! I just listened to your interview on Another Mother Runner & it seemed perfect as I’m visiting Portland from Edmonton, Alberta LOL
I just shared the podcast on a couple of local FB running pages because running parents everywhere are going to ❤️❤️❤️ this cookbook.
Now off to Powell’s to see if I can find a couple new editions!!!
Thank you Shalane & Elyse on everything you do & being you 😊

I’m a 40 year old female. I’ve been running for about 5 years now. I’ve done the Brooklyn half 3 consecutive years. And now I’m running the TCS NYC Marathon for the very first one. I’m running for MSK in memeory of my mother. I love running and I’m learning about the sport every day more and more. I enjoy following your insta posts and I have become very interested in your success. I know it’s been a long road for you and you’re still such an amazing athlete. My biggest issue is that I don’t seem to keep my weight very easily since becoming a more active runner. But I enjoy the sport and have big repect to what you do. Would love to learn more about your new book and diet. Thanks.
